We began our visit by meeting at the Airport in Wrocław with Mr Toshihiro Ikeda (President of Toshiba factory in Wrocław) and Ms Anna Kubala (Coordinator of administration in Toshiba factory in Wrocław). We flew from Wrocław to Warsaw, when we were going to spend exciting day, full of gatherings and visits.

Our first meeting was arranged in Westin Hotel, located in the centre of Warsaw. We gathered there with the students and teacher from Warsaw who also participate Toshiba Youth Conference. At the beginning we had a self-introduction. Mr. Ikeda and Mr. Nonami  presented us the film about Toshiba company. Afterwards, we discussed there about the foundation and the main aims of the conference. We also presented our mutual expectations. After the conversation we went for the lunch that was arranged also in the hotel. During the lunch we shared our opinions on Japan and Poland. After eating we moved to the most exciting part of our travel, visit to Japanese Ambassador.

We arrived to Japanese Embassy by taxi where we were warmly welcomed by Ms Michiko Marino ( the director of Culture Centre, Embassy of Japan). Ms Marino introduced us to Ambassador Kusumoto. He was very kind and pleasant. We were discussing over a cup of tea. During one hour conversation Mr. Kusumoto told us much about Japanese history, economy and traditions. The most inspiring part of his speech for us, was about the customs and the mentality of Japanese people. We got to know that they have rather calm and peaceful character and they look for compromise instead of arguing. Another unusual fact for us was also that they pay special attention to manners such as during tea ceremony or ikebana. Mr Ambasador convinced us that Japan is really unique country which combines tradition and modern lifestyle in harmony.

After visiting Japanese Embassy we went along with Ms Michiko to Information and Culture Centre of Embassy of Japan. She showed us the film about Japan. We also listened to the lecture about ways of reducing the concentration CO2 in the atmosphere. Moreover, we got some practical information about living in Tokyo.

Afterwards, we departed Culture Centre, said farewell to our friends from Japan and Warsaw, then arrived with Ms Kubala at Warsaw airport. We easily flew to Wrocław and then returned to our homes where we told to our families about experiences form that exciting day.

To sum up - this visit to Warsaw was very nice experience. We are glad that we had the opportunity to acquire some unusual knowledge and meet dignified people. I am looking forward to coming at the conference.
